NJTL NEWS

Due to inclement weather we were unable to hold our end of tennis camp party for our NJTL campers. However, the staff selected an annual winner of the Mark Hale Award. The award is presented at the end of camp to the NJTL camper who exemplifies good sportsmanship, an excellent work ethic, and an earnest desire to improve not only tennis skills, but personal skills as well. The award the individual is named after, Mark Hale was a former participant of NJTL who exemplified these fine qualities. This year’s winner from the Staunton site is Andrew Weatherman. He is pictured above receiving congratulations from Tom Erskine, senior SWAT board representative. Congratulations to Andrew and his family for this well-deserved honor.
